Sing Like A Bagpipe

UPDATE: I added a second video of seven different traditional styles at the bottom. On some of them you have to listen closely to hear the melody and some are obvious.

I’m gonna learn how to do this just to annoy my wife!

You may have seen the Big Bang Theory where Tuvan Throat Singing was referenced. It turns out that throat singing is over tone singing with the Tuvan people’s style being the most well known for some reason I can’t be bothered to research.  Sheldon wasn’t very good.

Here’s Amazing Grace done using overtone singing. I think it sounds kinda like a bagpipe.
